WSDOT announced two bridge inspections on US 97 and a water line project on SR 20 that will cause traffic delays this week.
US 97 at milepost 291 near Omak will have one-lane, two-way traffic from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sept. 8 for a bridge inspection. US 97 at milepost 310 south of Tonasket will have alternating one-lane, two-way traffic from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sept. 9 for another bridge inspection. On SR 20 near Twisp, work on water lines will cause alternating one-lane traffic from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sept. 8-10.
Drivers should expect flaggers, reduced speed limits, and delays during the specified times. The work is scheduled to end by Sept. 10 at 6 a.m.
