Okanogan County travelers will experience temporary slowdowns on US 97 near Omak and Tonasket this week due to bridge inspections.
WSDOT announced one-lane, two-way traffic with flaggers and reduced speed limits on US 97 at milepost 291 near Omak from 1-3 p.m. on Sept. 8. A second inspection at milepost 310 south of Tonasket will cause delays from 8-11 a.m. on Sept. 9.
The agency also noted work on water lines along SR 20 near Twisp will cause overnight slowdowns from Sept. 8-10 between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.
