The Three Queens Fire on Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest grew approximately 10 acres to the south and east of its perimeter between July 31 and August 9, according to InciWeb records. The fire is located six miles west of Snoqualmie Pass in Kittitas County.
Firefighters continue working on fuel breaks to contain the fire, which has been impacted by high winds on Saturday, August 8. The fire was reported on August 8 and is currently being managed by multiple agencies on public land.
The fire is one of several active wildfires across the region, including fires in Montana, Colorado, and Oregon, though none are currently burning in Okanogan or Omak, Washington.
