Kittitas County Sheriff's Office reduced evacuation warning levels in portions of the Three Queens and Goat fire areas near Lake Kachess and Lake Cle Elum on September 13, 2026.

Cabin owners along Baker Lane south of Kachess Campground are now at Level 1 (GET READY) from Level 2. The northern portion of Forest Service Road 4818 and adjacent areas are now Level 2 (GET SET) from Level 3. Other areas between the lakes are now Level 1 from Level 2.

All other evacuation warnings remain in effect. Areas affected remain closed to public recreation despite the reduced evacuation levels, and the sheriff's office advises residents to monitor the Kittitas County Live Evacuation Map for current conditions.
