The Rio Blanco Fire, burning south of 8 mile Mesa near Pagosa Springs, Colorado, has prompted road closures and evacuations as of August 5, 2026.

Valle Seco Road (NFSR 653) and all spur roads are closed. Evacuations are in effect for CR 335 Lower Blanco, with pre-evacuation orders for CR 337, 339, and Pinon Hills along CR 500.
