Okanogan–Omak area drivers will encounter multiple lane closures and detours beginning August 26, 2026, according to Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) construction updates.

SR 14 eastbound will have intermittent lane closures from milepost 27.5 near Riverside Drive to milepost 42.14 near Ash Lake Road starting August 26, 2026, at 6:42 a.m. SR 20 near Loup Loup Pass will see pavement repairs with alternating one-lane traffic Mondays through Thursdays until August 27, 2026, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Drivers on SR 9 near Kalloch Road will experience single-lane traffic through a bypass road until September 14, 2026, for fish passage construction.
