WSDOT announced several highway closures and lane restrictions in the Okanogan–Omak area effective this week through early August. The most significant closures include a two-lane closure on I-90 between Eighth Avenue South and the floating bridge from Aug. 4–5, and a right-lane closure on SR 522 from Aug. 5–6.
The closures are part of routine maintenance and utility work. SR 211 will have a full lane closure both directions on July 31, and US 2 will alternate traffic with flaggers nightly from Aug. 3–7. WSDOT advises drivers to expect delays of up to 20 minutes on affected routes.
