I-405 lane closures extend through Labor Day

I-405 will have multiple lane closures starting Monday night through Labor Day weekend for construction work and fish passage projects. The most significant closure affects southbound I-405 from milepost 12 to Coal Creek Parkway, scheduled to close overnight Thursday, Sept. 3, until 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4.

WSDOT reports four additional overnight closures on I-405 and SR 527, as well as alternating traffic on SR 20 near Anacortes. The I-5 fish passage project near exit 240 will reduce lanes nightly through Sept. 10, while a gas line project on SR 4 will close a single lane weekdays through Sept. 11.
